AleX Miller is a Maryland born photographer currently working out of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He is currently attending the University of the Arts for Photography. His love for photography developed during his sophomore year of high school and he has been taking pictures off-and-on ever since. After taking a year long hiatus to pursue a degree in computer networking sciences, AleX decided that computers were not his true calling, so he went back to school at his local community college. Pursuing an associates degree in anything, AleX ended up getting back into the dark room and found his way back to taking pictures full time. After graduating, AleX decided to move to Philadelphia to continue to develop his photography career.

Most of AleX’s work is influenced by his love of strange cartoons and horror/sci-fi/slasher/monster movies. In general, AleX has always been attracted to weird, strange, morbid, macabre, and unusual things. From destroyed buildings to specimens in jars, most of AleX’s work is rather dark and somewhat haunting.

And that’s exactly what he’s shooting for.
